Celebration Services
Altar at St. Peter’s, Hargrave.
In addition to daily acts of Collective Worship, we attend St. Peter’s Church, Hargrave or sometimes St.Helen’s Church, Tarporley for Celebration Services on special occasions, such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter.

In recent years we also presented services at Huxley Methodist Church until its closure last year. Since this time, regular PTA events such as afternoon tea and singing of Christmas songs by the children, which welcome the wider community, have taken place there.
Our Mothering Sunday and Father's Day our Celebration Service takes place at the beginning of the morning in the School Hall. Gifts and cards are made in school and each child gives a gift donated by the diocese to his/her parent/carer.
For our Celebration Services we write and perform our own scripts, usually including drama, readings, singing, musical items and prayers, attempting to combine factual items and creative approaches. Everyone is involved in these services. The children’s own work, produced in class and after school clubs, is an integral part of these celebrations: some of their poems and prose can be seen on this website and children are able to take home their creations as a lasting memento. Our children are enthusiastic participants in all of these activities.
