Huxley Book Day

As World Book Day fell at a particularly busy part of the year at Huxley, we decided to celebrate Huxley Book Day on the last day before the May half term holiday.  It was a success, with children and adults dressing up as a range of characters from favourite books, many of which were inspired by the current class topics.  In the afternoon, the children worked in mixed-age groups to create stories featuring their characters, and acted them out for the whole school.  Pictures can be seen below, and many more are on the school's Facebook page.
