Children met a rich Athenian lady and a down-to-earth Spartan tutor who helped the children learn about the wisdom of the Ancient Greeks! Greeks were loyal to their city-state first, and great competition existed between Athens and Sparta. The children decided who prevailed!
The children also examined some ancient weaponry, and mastered the strategies needed for ancient Greek childhood games.
During the afternoon, all the children shared in a performance of a Greek myth with costume, music and plenty of drama. Children ended the day tasting Greek food.
