Years 5 and 6 Enjoy Ancient Egypt Experience

This morning children in Years 5 and 6 took part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop alongside our partners from Utkinton. As part of the experience the children learned some Egyptian dances, tasted Egyptian food, learnt how to write their names in hieroglyphics and completed some Egyptian mathematical problem solving. As ever, these experiences are designed to bring learning to life and the children enjoyed the hands on experiences, which have hopefully deepened their knowledge of the overall topic.
